GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The man injured when a rock crashed through his windshield has died.
Family members tell FOX 17 that Joseph Gibbons, 48, died Saturday frominjuries he suffered on October 16th.
Gibbons was driving in the 2200 block of Turner NW when he crashed into a building. Investigators found an 11-pound rock had crashed through his windshield, striking him in the head. Walker Police believe that the rock had fallen from a truck that was also driving on Turner.
Gibbons’ family has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover funeral expenses.
