ENSLEY TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man is dead after police say he fell from a tree stand Sunday afternoon.
CPR was already in progress when the 911 call was received, according to a press release from Michigan State Police.
Domingo Castro Jr., 39, of Spring Lake, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say Castro was reportedly working on building a tree stand with friends and family when he lost his balance and fell from the top of the tree stand.
Michigan State Police were assisted at the scene by Rockford Ambulance, Sand Lake Fire, as well as first responders, and the Newaygo County Medical Examiner’s Office.
