Marshall man hits deer, gets rear-ended by passerby

GREEN TOWNSHIP, Mich.- The Mecosta County Sheriff’s office says a man was rear-ended early Saturday morning after his car was disabled moments after striking a deer.

Police say it happened on Northbound US 131 just north of 19 Mile Rd. early Saturday morning. 

The driver has been identified as a 45-year-old man from Marshall.

Both drivers and an 81-year-old female passenger were transported to Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
