TUNISIA — Two brothers from Michigan have been arrested in Tunisia on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack.
The arrests were reported by news outlets in Tunisia , which is in northern Africa between Libya and Algeria, and the Lansing State Journal.
The reports say the men are in their 30s and the men claim to have been studying computer science at a university there.
They were arrested after locals became suspicious of their behavior.
The reports say that a laptop was found with the brothers with plans to blow up a number of sites.
Investigators say that the brothers told interrogators that they had recently converted to Islam. A woman was also arrested.
