WOODLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person was killed after their vehicle hit a tree early Tuesday morning.
It happened just after 3 a.m. on M-66 near Davenport Road in Woodland Township.
The driver was reportedly driving on M-66 when their car went off the road and struck a tree, according to a press release from the Barry County Sheriff’s Office. The victim had to be extracted from the vehicle before being flown to a Grand Rapids hospital where police say they later died.
The crash remains under investigation.
