WEST MICHIGAN — The American Red Cross is looking for more blood donations in advance of the holiday season.

The relief organization says the holiday season usually sees a dip in donations around the holidays, so they’re hoping to stock up ahead of time to ensure their supply is enough to make it through the winter months.

To make an appointment to give blood, you can either download the Red Cross Blood Donor app, visit their website, or call 1-800-RED-CROSS.
