BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A 23-year-old man was critically injured after police say his moped collided with an SUV on Saturday evening.
It happened just before 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Capitol NE and Union Street in Battle Creek. Officers say the SUV reportedly turned left in front of the moped rider, who was traveling north on Capitol, when the crash occured.
The man was taken to a Kalamazoo hospital for treatment and the crash remains under investigation.
