PORTAGE, Mich. — A 15-year-old Portage Northern High School student was arrested Thursday after allegedly threatening others at the school.
The Portage Department of Public Safety said in a release that a staff member and other students heard the teen “talking about his plans” and contacted the administration and the school’s resource officer.
Officials said the teen was making violent threats but there were no weapons at the school and students and staff were not in “imminent danger.”
