After placing more than 600 animals in loving homes back in May, the BISSELL Pet Foundation is bringing back their Empty the Shelters event this Saturday.
On October 22, more than 1000 pets will be available for adoption, looking for their new forever home.
Thanks to BISSELL Pet Foundation, all adoption fees at 54 shelters across the state will be waived. The only fee families will have to be responsible for is the licensing fee, which varies by county, ranging from $7 to $12 per animal.
When an animal is adopted, their owner will receive a BISSELL Pet Foundation AdoptBox. Each box is filled with toys and treats for dogs or cats, an ID tag, collar, cleaning products, and a wellness booklet to help new pet owners take care of their new furry companion.
