Shorts versus snow for West Michigan

Posted

WEST MICHIGAN — Temperatures today across the area ranged from the mid 70s to around 80. That’s about 20 degrees above our average high for this time of year.

One year ago today many locations in West Michigan reported at least a trace of snow, or in some locations around an inch. Afternoon temperatures were in the mid-upper 30s.

Cooler, but not cold air is sitting over the northern part of the state and we will see a slow cooling trend for the rest of the week.

Highs both tomorrow and Wednesday will stay well above average in the upper 60s to lower 70s and mainly dry weather. A cold front will slide into the area by the end of the week dropping our high temperatures back into the 50s. Right now, the weekend look nice with highs in the mid-upper 50s and a mix of clouds and sun.
