The NFL doubleheader of the week returns to FOX 17 this weekend, and three of West Michigan’s favorite teams will be shown.

The Detroit Lions will lead the coverage on FOX starting at 1:00 p.m., taking on the Los Angeles (don’t call them St. Louis) Rams.  The game will be once again called by the three-person booth of Justin Kutcher, Charles Davis and Chris Spielman.

The national game follows at 4:25 p.m. featuring the Green Bay Packers hosting the Dallas Cowboys.  No Joe Buck this week, as he’s working the baseball playoffs.  Thom Brennaman will be paired with Troy Aikman at Lambeau Field.

Over on CBS, Bears fans will rejoice as they will be seen hosting  the Jacksonville Jaguars.  Another three-man booth makes the call there too: Andrew Catalon, Steve Beuerlein and Steve Tasker.

And of course, most importantly, The Simpsons Tree House of Horror XXVII airs after football at 8:00 p.m. followed by FOX 17 News at 10 and 11.
