Sheriff: Cows shot in Sturgis, Mich.

STURGIS, Mich. – Investigators are looking for tips to figure out who shot cows belonging to a Michigan lawmaker’s father.

The St. Joseph County Sheriff says the shooting happened sometime between October 8th and October 10th in the 27000 block of Banker Street Road in Sturgis.  The cows belonged to the father of State Representative Aaron Miller (R) – Sturgis.

Investigators are unclear of a possible motive.  Anyone with information should call the sheriff’s department at 269-467-9045 or central dispatch at 269-467-4195.
