Man stabbed in Grand Rapids overnight

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.– A man suffered from non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed on the southeast side of Grand Rapids on late Wednesday night, with little to no detail to explain what caused it.

According to the Grand Rapids police, the stabbing was reported around 10:50p.m. on Willard Avenue SE. When police arrived, they found a 41-year-old, very intoxicated man with a stab wound.

The man was taken to Mercy Health Saint Mary’s Hospital. Police were unable to get information of the incident from him, and witnesses were not able to provide any additional information.  His identity has not been released.
