NILES, Mich. — The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a suspect in a Wednesday afternoon bank robbery in Niles.
The robbery happened at about 1 p.m. at the Chemical Bank, 1835 S. 11th St., according to a release.
Officials say a man showed a note to the teller and then took an unspecified amount of money. He fled the area on foot.
The suspect was described by the sheriff’s department as a black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build.
No injuries were reported.
