WEST MICHIGAN- A cold front’s arrival Wednesday afternoon looks to bring much cooler air to the region Thursday into Friday morning as well.
A cold front has moved through the region, dropping our morning temperatures into the 40s. While it will be cool Thursday afternoon, clouds will clear overnight and set the stage for the coldest air to arrive overnight.
It’s Friday morning that you’ll need to worry about covering sensitive vegetation. Temperatures will hover around the freezing mark.
A Frost Advisory is in place for tonight into Friday morning until 9 AM. Temperatures will hover around the freezing mark, with some areas dipping down to the 32 mark for a brief period. On the grassy and metal surfaces, you can expect some thin layers of frost to develop. This may cause damage to some of your flowers, fruits, and vegetables that are still out. Make sure to cover them up Thursday night. This will be the only day of the next 7 that you’ll need to worry about this as we warm up heading into the weekend.
