Man, 32, found guilty in fatal Grand Rapids shooting

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Robert Hallman was found guilty Monday in the murder of 26-year-old Stroy Pittman.

Hallman, 32, was found guilty of first-degree murder, felon in possession of a firearm and felony firearm in the March 10 shooting in the 1100 block of Ottillia Street SE.

Grand Rapids Police said in a release that Pittman was shot 19 times.

Hallman is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 10 and faces life in prison.
