ROCKFORD, Mich. – Power has been restored to the roughly 9,000 Consumers Energy customers affected by a Monday outage.
Thousands were without service Monday afternoon due to an equipment issue with a 46,000 volt power line.
A spokesperson for Consumers Energy says that the line in question comes out of a substation between Spaulding and Fulton. The problem happened at about 3:40pm.
Mercy Health’s Rockford Campus was impacted by the outage.
