WEST MICHIGAN — An upper level disturbance moving across the area this morning bought some unexpected clouds and even a few showers to a few select parts of the area in the wee hours of the morning today.

It will also be slightly warmer with lighter winds today. Yesterday, we had a small craft advisory in effect for the Lake Michigan shoreline. Today, we’re expecting much lighter winds as high pressure settles in from the west. Here is a look at your marine forecast for today:
It will get chilly once again tonight with mostly clear skies, but warmer air is in the forecast Monday and Tuesday. A cold front will bring some showers Wednesday into Thursday morning, followed by yet another cool-down for the end of the workweek.
