ANN ARBOR, Mich. — University of Michigan police say a student was reportedly sexually assaulted Friday night while jogging.
It happened about 8 p.m. when the student was running on the Geddes Street path near the entrance of Nichols Arboretum.
The student told police an unknown male approached, grabbed the victims arm, and pushed her to the ground. She was then punched in the face and sexually assaulted.
Police say the victim was able to run away from the suspect who is described as a white male in his 20’s, about 5 foot 7, last seen wearing a black sweatshirt.
