GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A man has been arrested and a gun confiscated by Grand Rapids Police.
The incident happened Tuesday in the northwest corner of Caulfield Park near the fence line. Police say they saw a group of people huddled in that area. When they saw police they ran east from the park.
Police caught up with a 26-year-old man in a yard in the 1100 block of Caulfield SW. He was cited for being in the park after hours and arrested for Prowling and Failing to Stop for an Officer.
Police searched the area and found a Taurus .40 caliber handgun, loaded with 14 rounds.
