SHERWOOD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person was killed Friday in a crash at M60 and M66.
Michigan State Police say the crash happened at about 5:45 p.m. when a southbound vehicle failed to yield to westbound traffic on M-60.
The vehicle, driven by 19-year-old Alexis Schroeder of Valparaiso, Ind., was struck by a semi-truck.
Schroeder was hospitalized and her passenger, Corinne Johns of Porter, Ind., was pronounced dead at the scene, police said in a release.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
