WARREN, Mich. (AP) — A Detroit-area man is facing child pornography charges after authorities say he made videos of boys changing in a public locker room.
A complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Detroit says the investigation into 58-year-old Timothy Decker of Warren started after a man who works for him at Decker’s party equipment rental business told police in August he found videos on a thumb drive.
The Macomb Daily of Mount Clemens reports the locker room was at the Warren Community Center and Decker was arrested Monday.
The Detroit News reports Jack Jaffe, the lawyer representing Decker, told a federal magistrate his client has no criminal record and doesn’t pose a flight risk. The magistrate said, however, Decker was a community threat and ordered him held until an Oct. 7 hearing.
