MUSKEGON, Mich. - Police say one person is dead after a shooting victim was found in the city of Muskegon. A second person, a woman, was injured and has been taken to an area hospital.
The sounds of gunfire erupting around 2:30 P.M., along Peck Street near Holbrook Avenue.
A large section of Peck, closed by police for a crime scene that stretched hundreds of yards.
“This is the stuff that you see on TV,” Says Cindie Miller, a witness to the shooting. “But to look out your window and have that right in front of your face and it happen so close to home is a bit nerving and very, very sad.”
Police are yet to identify the male who died, or the female who was hurt.
