MACKINAC ISLAND, Mich.– Grand Rapids Mayor Rosalynn Bliss has another title to add after being named the 2016-2017 president of the Michigan Municipal League Board of Trustees.

Mayor Bliss was named the board president by the 19-member board that she has served on since 2013. She has also served as the vice president for the past year.

Bliss’ role as the League President will be to fix the state’s broken system for funding municipalities and restoring more local control to local government.
