DOWAGIAC, Mich. — A 20-year-old man is facing charges in three recent home invasions in Dowagiac.

Brett Adam Gibson faces first and second-degree home invasion, larceny and felony firearms charges in connection with the incidents.

Dowagiac Police say the home invasions happened Sept. 7, Sept. 8 and Sept. 12.

Several long guns and other items were stolen during the Sept. 7 robbery in the 400 block of Orchard Street.

The stolen items were recovered after police received a report of someone dragging a trash container into a wooded area near Percy Street, according to a release.

The other two home invasions happened Sept. 8 in the 300 block of Oak Street and Sept. 12 in the 200 block of Florence Street.

Some of the stolen items from those incidents were recovered when Gibson was arrested Sept. 12.

Police said Gibson has confessed to all three incidents.
