GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Public School’s Museum School has been awarded a $10 million grant to expand and remodel the school.
The grant comes from the XQ Special School Project, a national organization that seeks out and helps fund education programs they feel are using innovative learning techniques.
GRPS was among thousands of schools that applied. They say that the grant will help be a model for the “next generation” of high schools.
The school is located in the Grand Rapids Public Museum at 272 Pearl NW.
