Man expected to survive after being shot several times in Battle Creek

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital on Monday evening.

It happened around 7:00 p.m. in the area of Burnham Street and Terrance Avenue in Battle Creek.

Battle Creek Police confirm a 26-year-old man was hospitalized after being shot several times, but police say he’s expected to survive.

No suspects are in custody. Police are looking for a black female driver of a late 90’s white Ford Taurus with a cracked windshield.  They say a black male passenger was also spotted in the vehicle.
