HOLLAND, Mich. — A 28-year-old Holland man is charged with raping a woman at her home Tuesday.

Johnny Manuel Campos was charged Wednesday with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with personal injury and unlawful imprisonment.

Holland Police say the attack happened at a home on W. 30th Street.

The victim told police that Campos attacked her, tied her up and raped her.

She told police her child was in the home at the time of the attack, according to a release.

After the attack, the woman escaped the home and went to a friend’s house, according to a release.  Police say the woman’s friend then took her to the hospital.  Police were called to the hospital at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Investigators said in a release that Campos and the victim knew each other prior to the alleged assault.

Campos was arrested Tuesday.  In addition to the CSC and unlawful imprisonment charges, he was charged with a bond violation for a previous domestic assault charge, according to police.
