Just because school has started, doesn't mean that you have to stop spending time out in the summer sun.
The Pierce Cedar Creek Institute has a 10 mile trail that is open all year round, leaving the possibilities endless for the end of summer fun.
In addition to outdoor activities, Cedar Creek Institute has a couple of events to kick off the fall season.
One of these events is a fundraiser for the institute called A Late Summer Night's Green. There will be a live and silent auction, raffles, celebrity auctioneers, and other fun surprises at the event.
The event is happening on *Saturday, September 10 from 6-9 p.m. Tickets cost $50 and include dinner.
They're also having some stewardship workshops over the next month. There will be a class on Natural Shoreline Landscaping on September 17, and Trail Building Management on September 22.

*Fullscreen in the video for fundraiser is incorrect, the event is Saturday, September 10, not Sunday.
