MUSKEGON, Mich. — A man died after being hit by a vehicle while crossing US-31 on Friday evening.
The man was hit by a vehicle on US-31 north of Apple Avenue at 9:36 p.m. Friday, according to the Muskegon Police Department.
According to Police Chief Jeff Lewis, the man was wearing dark clothing while crossing the highway when he was hit and killed by a northbound vehicle.
The victim will not be identified until after relatives are notified.
The vehicle’s driver was not hurt.
