ALLENDALE, Mich. – Two men have been arrested in connection to an armed robbery earlier this week in Allendale.

The Ottawa County Sheriff says that the two suspects were arrested Thursday after receiving information that allegedly linked them to the robbery of a Peppino’s employee as he was closing the restaurant and going to his car Wednesday morning at about 2:00am.  The suspects approached the employee with a handgun and demanded cash.  The employee was not hurt.

Investigators say that they arrested a 38-year-old Allendale man and a 27-year-old Kent County man Thursday on unrelated warrants.  Charges for the armed robbery are still forthcoming.  The suspect’s names will be released after their arraignments.
