With school back in session and the summer nearly over, it's not too early to think about getting a flu shot.
That's why Meijer is encouraging everyone across the Midwest to get their flu shot early not only to benefit your health, but to those in need.
Now through November 26, Meijer will make a $5 donation to Simply Give for every flu shot administered. Simply Give is a program that works to restock the shelves of the retailer's food pantry partners across the Midwest.
The Miejer Pharmacy will inject the vaccine without an appointment during pharmacy hours and accept most insurance plans. Most insurance plans fully cover the flu shot.
They provide three types of shots:
- Fluvirin Trivalent: Three-strain vaccine
- Fluzone Quadrivalent: Four-strain vaccine
- Fluzone HD: For patients 65 and older
