FLORENCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A wanted felon from Indiana was captured near Constantine on Monday.
Michigan State Police say Jason Wayne Huddleston, 38, was captured in a cornfield after running from police. Authorities first discovered him hiding out at a residence in the 65000 block of Sevison Road in Florence Township. Huddleston was wanted for armed robbery, burgarly and weapons charges.
Huddleston reportedly posted threats on social media against law enforcement while on the run, according to a press release from Michigan State Police.
No injuries were reported and Huddleston was taken to the St. Joseph County Jail. Police say he’s facing extradition back to Indiana and also may face additional charges here in Michigan.
