WEST MICHIGAN — A Flood Watch is in effect for a good portion of the area until 8 a.m. Saturday.
Showers and thunderstorms both this morning and again this afternoon brought 1-3 inches of rain to parts of West Michigan. Some spots along and south of I-96 received over 3 inches of rain.
Additional rain is expected overnight with some areas expected to receive another 1-2 inches.
