HOLLAND, Mich. – A man who was working as a roofer at Hope College has died after a fall Wednesday.
David Torrenga, 48, fell Wednesday afternoon from the roof of the DePree Art Center and Gallery. Torrenga fell about two stories.
The school issued the following statement Thursday:
We in the Hope community are saddened to learn of the death of David Torrenga following Wednesday’s accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
