GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Griffins' points leader over the past two seasons won't be pulling on a sweater for the team this season, but that didn't stop Andy Miele from coming back to Grand Rapids on Thursday for the Griffins Youth Camp.
Miele signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Flyers on July 1, seeing it as his best route to the National Hockey League. The Michigan native played 171 games over two years with the Griffins -- but never made an appearance in Detroit with the Red Wings.
