TWIN LAKE, Mich. – The Gerber Scout Reservation is temporarily closed after a norovirus-like outbreak.
In a Facebook post, the camp staff announced it had suspended operations after about 20-30 campers and staff became sick with a mild stomach illness. They voluntarily closed after discussing the issue with the Muskegon County Health Department.
The staff will be disinfecting and cleaning the camp and conducting medical checks.
