EVERETT TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A four-year old boy is dead after drowning in a backyard pool Monday afternoon.
Newaygo deputies were called to a home in the 600 block of S. Silver Drive about 4:30pm Monday on reports that Jacob Arquette of White Cloud was missing. The boy was found a short time later in backyard pool and was unresponsive. Responders began CPR, but the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is still under investigation.
