Two Muskegon men facing multiple CSC charges

MUSKEGON, Mich. - Two men accused of being serial rapists face up to life in prison for allegedly date-raping at least three women in Muskegon.

The victims along with other women tell FOX 17 that others may have been victimized by these men. They urge any victims to come forward: report it to your local police department immediately.

Larry Donell Stiff, 30, was in court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing on first-degree criminal sexual conduct.  Joshua Matthew-Rollin Humphrey, 33, is also charged in the alleged rape of two women on October 30, 2013; he will be in court for his preliminary hearing Wednesday.

The two women gave tear-filled testimony in court Tuesday, alleging that  Humphrey offered them one shot of alcohol, and then within 30 minutes, felt sick and "blurry." They say it happened at Cancun Connections, a former bar on Hall Road that night. Both remember waking up in pain, naked, at a home they did not know.

The victims say they reported the entire incident to police on October 31, 2013. Humphrey and Stiff were charged with first-degree CSC earlier this month. FOX 17 reached out to officials as to why charges came three years after the women's report, but we have yet to hear back.

One of the women tells FOX 17 that she met Humphrey a couple weeks before on MeetUp.com and made it clear she was looking only for friendship, nothing sexual.  The other woman says she was at the bar with another friend that night and met Humphrey, Stiff, and the other woman who happened to be there as well.

The recent incident allegedly occurred Feb. 6, 2016.  Another woman, who met Humphrey on Tinder and knew him at that point, met him at the Marine Tap Room. She met Humphrey, and another friend of his, Stiff, along with some of her girlfriends because, according to court documents, she heard negative things about Humphrey: that he was "creepy" and "rapey."

She reported Humphrey bought her one beer. She told police she didn't remember anything until she woke up in her own home, wearing only a pair of surgical scrub pants she had never seen before.

In March, Humphrey and Stiff were charged with third-degree CSC for the assault on this woman in February. Both Humphrey and Stiff are in custody; this case is bound over to circuit court.

Victims and police together are asking for anyone who believes they are victims of the two men -- or any others for that matter -- to come forward, and contact their local police departments.
