Ohio man arrested bringing $300k worth of meth into Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – An Ohio man has been arrested for allegedly trafficking crystal methamphetamine from California to Kalamazoo.

Buddy Randall Parker, 36, was arrested Saturday after the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team learned that he was bringing five pounds of meth to an address in Kalamazoo Township.  He was also found to have a loaded handgun, two other handguns and a large amount of cash.  The street value of the meth is valued at over $300,000.

Ohio officials were then able to search his home there and found more meth, guns and cash.

Parker was arraigned Monday and is being held on a $2 million bond.
