MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. – A man was critically injured and his wife suffered a minor injury during a suicide Monday morning.
The Muskegon Heights Police Chief tells FOX 17 that the man shot himself in the head in front of the woman and she was struck by either a bullet fragment or other ricochet.
The incident is not being investigated as being suspicious in nature and police believe that the incident was a suicide attempt.
The man is in critical condition. The woman’s condition suffered non-life threatening injuries.
