GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — One person was killed in motorcycle crash early Sunday morning.
Police said it happened at the intersection of Plainfield Ave. and Lafayette Ave. just after midnight.
The rider on the motorcycle hit the center median, police said.
It’s not clear if that driver was wearing a helmet of if alcohol played a factor.
Plainfield Ave. was shut down for a few hours while police investigated. It has since reopened.
