Little boy grazed by bullet in Muskegon Heights

MUSKEGON, Mich. — A 5-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after reportedly being grazed by a bullet in Muskegon Heights Saturday night.

It happened around 9:45 p.m. in the 2500 block of Reynolds in Muskegon Heights.

Officials with the Muskegon Heights Police Department said the 5-year-old boy was getting out of his dad’s truck at the time he was grazed in the buttocks. Authorities noted the boy and his father were attending a birthday party in the area at the time of the incident.

No suspects are in custody. Police said it’s unclear where the shot came from.
