PIERSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- A pedestrian was struck and killed on Stanton Road near Neve Road in Pierson early Friday.
Michigan State Police were called to the location just before 6:00am, and they found the victim, a 32-year-old man, lying in the road. He has been identified as Jerud Schneider of Wyoming.
A motorcycle was found nearby in a field. The motorcyclist was found a short time later and taken to the hospital for treatment. His name has not yet been released.
