WYOMING, Mich. - Police are searching for the person who robbed a Wyoming bank at gunpoint.
The robbery happened Wednesday about 2:17 p.m. at the Fifth Third Bank on 54th Street just west of Division Avenue.
The suspect is described as a white man with short reddish blonde hair, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall. During the robbery he was wearing gloves, a camouflage jacket, blue jeans and an orange ski mask.
Police say he may have also been spotted wearing a black t-shirt and large print plaid shorts that are brown, yellow and white in color. He was also seen with a black backpack.
Kent County dispatch says the suspect may have ridden off on a bicycle onto a nearby trail near Cutlerville. Police said that the suspect was armed and should be considered dangerous, and advised residents to take shelter.
Shortly before 5:30 p.m., Kent County Sheriff's Department ended their search and lifted their alert. Wyoming police said the FBI is questioning a person of interest in connection to the robbery.
The same bank wasrobbed on July 11.
