RUTLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 47-year-old Middleville man was thrown from his motorcycle following a crash in Barry County.
It happened Friday just after 11 p.m. on North Whitmore Road near Upton Road.
Deputies say the motorcycle rider lost control, crashed in the road and was thrown from the bike. He was taken to the hospital by Aeromed for unknown injuries.
The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.
Police said it’s unclear if drugs, alcohol or speed were factors in the crash.
