BALLWIN, Mo. — Authorities in Missouri are investigating a report of an officer-involved shooting on Friday in western St. Louis County, according to KTVI.
The injured officer was transported to a local hospital, according to authorities. An ambulance accompanied by Ballwin police was seen unloading a victim at Mercy Hospital.
The officer’s condition is unknown at this time.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting the officer was shot in the neck during a traffic stop and the suspect is in custody.
