KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A 25-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly shooting a woman during an argument.
Kharis Richardson is charged with assault with intent to murder, domestic violence, being a felon in possession of a firearm and two counts of felony firearms.
The shooting was reported at about 10:33 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of Krom Avenue.
Police say the 22-year-old woman was shot four times in her upper torso. She is currently hospitalized in stable condition.
Richardson turned himself in about an hour and a half after the shooting, police said in a release.
