CASS COUNTY, Mich.— A two car crash in Cass County sent two people to a hospital Sunday afternoon.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says it happened on M-51 near Pokagon Highway. Deputies report that a vehicle driven by a South Bend man – Wayne Kerby, 73 – was heading northbound when it hit a vehicle driven by Heather Smith, 33, from Dowagiac, who was attempting to turn left into a driveway.
Kerby’s vehicle went off road and hit a tree before rolling over. Kerby had to be extricated from the vehicle. He and his wife suffered minor injuries.
Smith walked away with no injuries.
