GEORGETOWN TWP., Mich. – A Jenison man was critically injured in crash early Thursday morning.

Ottawa County deputies say that at about 4:40am, a crash happened between two cars at the intersection of Chicago Drive and Port Sheldon Street.  Less than a minute after the crash, a third car slammed into the back of one of the disabled vehicles from the first crash.  The driver of the disabled vehicle was either ejected from his vehicle or was standing outside his vehicle when the third car struck.  That man, James Miller, 32, of Jenison, was taken to Metro Hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the third car, Justin Montgomery, 35, of Wyoming, was not hurt.  The other driver in the first crash was not named.

The intersection was closed for almost four hours.
